Yes Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, also known as CBS, is a constituent college of the University of Delhi. The college offers undergraduate courses in management studies, computer science, and journalism. CBS is one of the top colleges in India for management studies and has been ranked as the best undergraduate management college in the country by India Today magazine.To get admission into CBS, you'll have to apply through the University of Delhi's admission portal and appear for the entrance exam. The entrance exam is called the Delhi University Joint Admission Test (DU JAT) and is conducted by the University of Delhi.

55 organisations, including PPOs, participated in the placement drive at the Delhi School of Economics. In the course of the placement drive, the highest CTC was offered at INR 18 LPA, as the average CTC was INR 10.57 LPA. India has placements in Mumbai, Bangalore, the National Capital Region, and other cities.You are eligible to participate in campus placements if you have passed every exam for every semester. Many students also use the campus placement cell to apply for fellowships and internships overseas, and upon completion earn a stipend. According to reports, organizations like the World Bank also provide similar internships and fellowships in addition to famous universities.

Admission to PGDA

The mode of selection to this course is direct through advertisement. The admission notice is issued in the Employment News and website of ASI in the first / second week of June and the last date for receipt of application is first week of August. The scrutiny of applications and preparation of merit list is done immediately and eligible candidates are called as per the merit for written test followed by viva in the first week of September each year. The applicants belonging to SC/ST category are given to and fro second class rail / bus fare by the shortest route from the place of their residence / duty to Delhi. The applicants working in Central / State Governments and Universities are required to route their applications through prescribed channels. On the basis of written and oral examination final selection of 15 candidates is made.

The qualification for admission is Master’s Degree in Ancient or Medieval Indian History / Archaeology / Anthropology/ Geology with knowledge of Pleistocene age / Indian Classical languages such as Sanskrit, Pali, Prakrit, Arabic or Persian from a recognised University or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate, relaxable by 5% in the case of SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates and candidates working in the Archaeological organization, Central / State Government and University Departments.

The maximum age limit is 25 years which is relax able for the candidates belonging to reserve categories and departmental (Central/State Govt./University) as per Govt. rules.

The final admission of 15 candidates shall take place on the 1st working day of October each year and the course commences simultaneously.

There are 15 stipends of Rs. 8000/- each, given to unattached students admitted to the course. Besides stipend, the travel expenses of pre-service students during the course of field training and study tours are borne by the Institute of Archaeology, Archaeological Survey of India.

At times,  foreign students sponsored by the neighboring countries are also admitted. Their wherewithal is being looked after by the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi, Indian Council of Cultural Relation.

There is a makeshift type of hostel within the campus available only for outstation candidates. Local students and departmental candidates are not eligible for accommodation but favored, depending on vacancy.
