Mathematics is a compulsory subject to get into DU for B.Com (Hons). Every college of Delhi University offers B.Com (Hons.). It's not compulsory that Mathematics should be a part of your best of four percentage, what matters is that you should have studied it in 10+2.
Moreover, Mathematics is a compulsory subject in one of the semesters of both B.Com (Hons.) and B.Com (Prog.) therefore there is no way to dodge maths either before or after getting into the varsity.
Eligibility for getting admission in Zakir Hussain College for B.Com Hons:
1. Aggregate of one language and three best elective subjects would be considered as best four subjects (BFS).
2. Environmental Education (ISC), Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Painting, Dance, Music, Physical Education, Home Science, Engineering Drawing and all other vocational subjects are not considered as BFS.

Optometry course is a Diploma-level Optometric course. It covers topics such as psychology, patient management and optometric retail management. You will also do a research project. These will give you the skills you need to better manage patients, run a retail business or embark on a career based in research. Course enables them to explore opportunities in fields other than health services. Students also get to learn first-hand from industry experts through off-campus classes and internships. The course is career orienting in nature that opens many jobs in medical areas after its successful completion along with further study options.
