Amrita School of Dentistry, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi Campus release 4-5 rounds of NEET cutoffs for admission to medical courses. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:

  • The NEET score of the candidate
  • The category of the candidate
  • The number of seats available in the course

Candidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 755823 and closing rank was 1049927. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to BDS in Amrita School of Dentistry is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam NEET. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

The cutoff trend for medical Courses at Amrita School of Dentistry, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham - Kochi Campus has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for medical courses under the General category for all India quota was 455. Moreover, in 2022, the cutoff increased to 1049927.

For last year, the closing rank for BDS was 1049927 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cutoffs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in Amrita School of Dentistry.

For 2022, the cutoff was 1049927 for General category candidates in All India quota for BDS - Bachelor of Dental Surgery in Amrita School of Dentistry, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham - Kochi Campus. A applicant must have permanent registration with the State Dental Council and a recognised BDS degree or equivalent qualification from the Dental Council of India in order to be admitted to the MS programme. Admission will be place through the National Board of Examinations' NBE NEET MS. It is a single admission test for several Post Graduate MS Courses that determines eligibility and ranking.

It looks that doing a UG Diploma from Amrita School of Dentistry is worth it; the Diploma in Dental Mechanics is a two-year programme which is both demanding and beneficial. The college offers excellent placements. The Amrita School of Dentistry offers superior, cost-effective, all-encompassing instruction in oral and dental healthcare.
