No, there is no provision for direct admission to the MFM programme of NIFT Patna. The admission is based on the applicants' performance in the NIFT entrance exam. Based on the NIFT entrance exam results, the institute shortlists candidates for the next selection round, i.e. personal interview. The entrance exam carries 70% weightage in the selection process. CEPT University (Ahmedabad) – Admission to the Bachelor's in Design program is based on UCEED scores. Although the university does not publish actual UCEED cutoff ranks or scores, 50% is typically a competitive score. The UCEED cutoffs are different every year as they are based on several factors, including the overall difficulty level of the exam and the performance of the applicants. For instance, the general category UCEED 2024 cutoff was 69.89. Apart from that, CEPT also takes into consideration a candidate's HSC score and UCEED performance.

The MIT Institute of Design (MITID) conducts its Design Aptitude Test (DAT) across multiple centers in India. For the 2024 examination, the test is scheduled to be held in the following cities: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Cochin, and Pune.

NTA has been released the NIFT 2024 question paper On February 18. Every year, NTA releases NIFT  question paper with recorded responses and answer key. Candidates can check these on the official website nift.nta.ac.in. Interview to PG candidates who have passed the Stage 1 test in NIFT 2024 is scheduled from April 1 to April 6, 2024. Interview call letters will be downloaded by the candidates through their application number and date of birth from the website of NTA. The interviews will be conducted based on the programs opted for by the candidates and one must check the official NIFT portal for the updates or changes in respect of the schedule and procedure.
