No, SPA Delhi MDes admissions are entrance-based. As per the official brochure, candidates willing to take admission to this programme must have a valid CEED score. Based on these scores, students are ranked and allocated a seat. Moreover, the students must also fulfill the eligibility requirements prescribed by the institute.

NIFT Delhi is the best college for fashion design in India. Established in 1986, the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Delhi initially offered only one design course from a temporary two-room set-up. NIFT Patna grants BFTech admission to candidates who are eligible as per the below-given eligibility criteria:
- Candidate must be an Indian Citizen
- Candidate must not have exceeded the age of 25 years as of August 01 of the year of admission (a relaxation of five years in the upper age limit may be provided to candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwD category)
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 (with Mathematics) from a recognised board/council; or Senior Secondary School examination of the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects (including Mathematics); or a three/four-year AICTE-approved Diploma
