The CEED question paper has two sections - Part A and Part B. Part A will include NAT, MSQ, and MCQ questions, and there is negative marking for M.Sc and MCQ-type questions. However, there is no negative marking for NAT-type questions.
Meanwhile, Part B will be a subjective paper and will have no negative marking.
The candidate needs to bear this things in mind when preparing, and also attempting the CEED exam.

The candidate may note that the eligibility criteria for appearing in the CEED 2026 exam and the eligibility criteria for admission to the M.Des programme are not the same.
The eligibility criteria for appearing in the CEED 2026 exam will be determined by IIT Bombay. The institute will verify all the documents submitted the candidate during the application process.
Meanwhile, the participating colleges will also determine the eligibility of the candidate during the counseling process, which will be conducted institute-wise. The candidate will have to furnish original documents, which will be used to determined the veracity of infor

The candidate must note that IIT Bombay is only responsible for conducting the CEED Entrance exam. Unlike UCEED, it will not conduct any Joint Seat Allotment.
This means the eligibility criteria prescribed by IIT Bombay is limited to appearing in the CEED 2026 exam. Further, the participating institutes of CEED 2026 will individually determine the eligibility criteria for the M.Des courses. The eligibility criteria will be uploaded on the admission portals of these institutes.

The eligibility criteria for appearing in the CEED 2026 exam is prescribed by IIT Bombay. The criteria are outlined in the information brochure. The candidate needs to carefully go through the criteria and only apply for admission if they meet the requirements.
Note that if the candidate fails to meet the CEED 2026 eligibility criteria, he or she could be disquafied at any stage of the admission process. Also, the participating colleges will have a document verification session, where all documents will be cross-checked.

The result of CEED 2026 will be prepared by giving weightage to the Part A and Part B sections. Part A will carry 25% weightage, whereas Part B will be worth 75% weightage.
CEED FINAL Score = 0.25 x (Marks obtained in Part A) + 0.75 x (Marks obtained in Part B)
Note that it is mandatory for candidates to qualify for Part A to be included in the CEED 2026 merit list. In case the candidate fails to qualify for Part A, his or her Part B answer booklets will not be evaluated.

The candidate must check all the details carefully after downloading the NIFT admit card 2026. This includes checking the spelling of your name, the date and timings of the exam, name and address of the allotted exam centre, etc. In case there are any discrepancies, like your name is wrongly spelled, you must contact exam officials immediately. NIFT officials in most cases also issues a helpline for students to tackle such cases. You can call NIFT officials at this number or email them to get things sorted. Given the sensitivity of the matter, it is important that you don't wait for until too late to get the admit card issue resolved.

The admit card of NIFT 2025 will be released online at niftadmissions. In. The step-wise process to download the admit card is given below: Go to the NIFT admission portal - niftadmissions. In If the admit card is released, then the admit card download link will be displayed on the page Click on the admit card download link You will be redirected to a log-in window Enter application number and date of birth On log-in, you can view and download the NIFT 2025 admit card Download and take a printout of the admit card.

The NIFT 2025 will not be sent to the candidate by email or post. Instead, the candidate has to download the admit card from the admission portal of the National Institute of Fashion technology. To download the admit card, click on the admit card download link and log-in by entering your log-in credentials. The candidate needs to take a printout of the admit card after downloading it. Note that on the day of the exam, the candidate will need a photo id proof to go with the admit card. Without admit cards, the candidate will not be allowed to sit in the NIFT 2025 exam.

The NIFT 2025 admit card for the Situation Test will be released around the 3rd week of March 2025. Meanwhile, admit cards for the Personal Interview will be released around the 3rd week of March 2025. Admit cards will be released to shortlisted candidates who had completed the slot booking/ campus selection process. The National Institute of Fashion Technology will release the slot booking schedule soon after the declaration of results for the NIFT 2024 written exams. All candidates who get shortlisted can book their slots. To download the admit card, the candidate will have to go to the NIFT admission portal, click on the admit card
