NIFT Hyderabad Cutoff 2024 Round 3 was released for MFM and B.F.Tech course. The Cutoff was released for different categories under the AI quota, in the form of opening and closing cutoff ranks. The Cutoff ranks for the General AI category candidates for the MFM course was 102 and for the B.F.Tech course was 245. The General AI category candidates with Cutoff rank of 300 cannot get admission to the NIFT Hyderabad. However, candidates falling under the OBC AI category can get admission to NIFT Hyderabad, as the Cutoff rank for OBC AI category candidates ranged between 1115 and 2749.

If you are seeking admission to the B.Des program, you can opt for SEED and NIFT. NIFT is the most important national level entrance exam in the country for design. NIFTs are ranked among the top design colleges in the country. So, NIFT should be your first preference. Keep SEED as a backup option.

This disparity in the release of results on the NIFT website vis-à-vis the NTA website can, in fact, be judged almost at many levels. Unlike other universities, entrance examinations for the admission process are conducted by NIFT  itself, and results are managed entirely by them. Sometimes, as and when updates or any new information is added, it first appears on the institutional website before they get updated on other external websites like NTA's website. The participating institutes of CEED 2026 are colleges that will offer admission to the M.Des and PhD courses solely on the basis of CEED 2026 scores. These institutes not consider scores of other entrance exams, like NIFT and NID DAT, for admission purposes. The list of CEED 2026 participating institutes will be published on the admission portal - ceed.iitb.ac.in.

The online application form for admission to CEED participating institutes will open tentatively in the last week of September 2024. Note that unlike UCEED 2026, IIT Bombay will not conduct any Joint Seat Allotment process for CEED 2026.

The participating institutes of CEED 2026 will offer admission to the M.Des courses based on CEED 2026 scores only. They will not accept scores of other entrance exams for admission process. Also, IIT Bombay will conduct a Joint Seat Allotment Process or Counseling for the participating institutes.

On the other hand, result-sharing institutes will not participate in the Joint Seat Allotment Process. Instead, these institutes will conduct counseling at an institute-level.
