No not at all. Stay away from this college. I enrolled to this college. They fooled us so bad. Firstly, they fooled us by changing the name of the institution. On the Orientation day we were informed that the college name is Dr. Kariappa School of Art and Design management. There is no permanency of lecturers in this institution. Also, there is no intimation of exam schedules in time. First semester started in beginning of August. Till january we didn't have any information regarding when is this semester going to end. NID admits students on the basis of their individual capabilities instead of just focusing on the past academic qualifications. NID admits students for 2 of its programmers which are B. Des and M.Des. The admission procedure consists of the following 3 stages:
STAGE 1: Design Aptitude Test (that)
STAGE 2: Studio Test
STAGE 3: Personal Interview
The candidates must fulfil the NID 2018 Eligibility before beginning the NID 2018 Application Process. The NID 2018 Eligibility includes the age criteria and academic qualification of the candidates.

NID offers Bachelor of Design B. Des course at NID-Ahmedabad, as well graduate Diploma Programme in Design (GDPD) course at NID Vijayawada and NID Kurukshetra. The GDPD course is of four year duration. Candidates can view below NID Entrance Exam 2019 eligibility criteria for B. Des & GDPD course admissions. National Institute of Design (NID) offers admissions to aspirants in Bachelor of Design B. Des Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (GDPD) as well as Master of Design M.Des programmes on the basis of their performance in NID Design Aptitude Test. In order to secure admission in design programmes offered at National Institute of Design (NID) aspirants need to take part in NID that (Prelims) and NID that (Mains). Only candidates who are shortlisted in NID that (Prelims) can appear for NID that (Mains).

The selection procedure for Fashion Design is in three-folds:-

1) You need at least 55% to get into the selection process.

2) You also have to give a portfolio after you apply for Amity University, Mumbai.

3) Once you have achieved this, you have a written exam of your stream or course that you have chosen. For fashion it is mostly GK in your field, i.e., how the fashion industry works or the latest trends, etc.

4) Finally, you have a personal Interview (PI) where they test your confidence and basic knowledge.

Once all this is cleared, you get selected for Amity University, Mumbai.
