There are different duration courses in interior designing that you can do in Ahmadabad as it in the hub for the designing courses. So, you can get different institutes, coaching classes and training centers for the same, or you can opt for internship in any firm, then you can gain the certificate for the same.

Hi Dhaval,
Yes, it will be as the civil engineering branch covers all the things from interior designing to the planning of the house and also to the making of the house. In simple words, if you do any course in interior design, then it will cover one part of the civil engineering.

Yes, you can take admission in designing after 12th. You must have successfully completed 10+2 in any stream with minimum 50%-60% (may vary university to university). You must have qualified the entrance exams such as CEED, LPU, NEST, AIEED, NIFT, etc. There are many institutes which provide direct admission to the students. You must have studied English in 12th as one of the main subjects. Top institutes from where you can do designing courses are:

Yes, you can do M.Des in Fashion Design from NIFT or NID, directly after BE. The basic courses in Masters remain same as in B.Des.

Sakshi, this would be an added advantage if you did retail management after fashion design.
My experience says that a designer with retail knowledge can work as a wonderful business development person. I want all my merchandisers to do a retail management course.
