Yes, you can take admission in designing after 12th. You must have successfully completed 10+2 in any stream with minimum 50%-60% (may vary university to university). You must have qualified the entrance exams such as CEED, LPU, NEST, AIEED, NIFT, etc. There are many institutes which provide direct admission to the students. Woven, print design, embroidery and surface embellishment are the core textile subjects and together impart an extensive and versatile training for the students. The Textile Design curriculum offers ample opportunity to students to create, experiment and innovate with materials. The programme builds upon the integration of creative forces of design with textile technology, and also keeps in mind the historical, social and cultural contexts in which the designers work today.
