It's really not necessary to be a good artist.
What you actually need is to be super creative and you also require to be good at aptitude. If you are creative and imaginative enough, you can be at the top. Also, work on the execution of your imaginative ideas.

There is no branch that is better than the other. Each degree has its own pros and cons. So, I would suggest you to go according to your interests. You need not choose a degree or a course on compulsion or disinterest. If you perform well and have good knowledge in your domain, then you can easily get jobs.
