Hi Pushpa, You can appear for NID entrance in 2019 as the entrance test has already taken place for 2018 batch. Also, for NID, you should know that your age should be maximum 20 years while applying for a UG course. NIFT is also a premium college for design courses but again, you cannot appear for 2018 batch as you have missed the entrance exam. Maximum age to be eligible for NIFT is 23 years. So, you still have a chance to apply for the UG course next year. Also, I would suggest you to check the PGD courses in design rather than pursuing another UG course.

The eligibility is that you need to have passed 10+2 from a recognized college. Whether college will consider 10+3 Diploma is at the sole discretion of the admission committee.

1. Choose one major platform
The major platforms in mobile app development world are Android, iOS, and Windows. There are others too like Symbian and Blackberry RIM, but you already know not to go for it.
So, either you can go for all the three major platforms, or you can choose one.
Even though Window 10 apps are springing up, it's still not the most lucrative to areas, to begin with.
Thus, the first stepping stone for your journey to choose will be either to opt for iOS apps or Android apps.
Once you have control on one, you can expand your horizons to include other app development technologies too.

Hi Lakshmi,
NIFT offers B.Des in Fashion Design, Leather Design, Accessory Design, Textile, Knitwear design, Apparel Production and Fashion Communication. To answer your other question, no, you don't have to opt for science to qualify for NIFT. You can opt for any stream. All that you need to appear for NIFT exam is your design aptitude.

Hi Neha,
Each institute has a different fee structure. It would be approximately 80-90K per semester, but again, it would differ from college to college. Please mention the college that you are interested to take admission in so that you get a better help in terms of information.

Diploma in Jewellery Design: Qualifications:
For pursuing the course, all the interested candidates should check the minimum eligibility criteria which is Students must have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination from recognised board. All interested candidates can apply to colleges directly for admission in the course. No special entrance test will be conducted for the students. On the basis of the students marks in 10+2 they will be admitted in the course.
