Hello,
NID, an aptitude test conducted by National Institute of Design.
NID exam doesn't have any set syllabus. Questions are asked on the basics topics such as Communication Skills, Composition, Creativity, Drawing Skills, General Mental Ability, and Sensitivity to Environment and Subjects of Design.
It is conducted in two stages: Prelims and Mains.
Prelims consists of two parts:
Part I- having Multiple-choice questions marked out of 70 points. This part has questions with one or more than one correct answer. The responses of this part will be recorded on an OMR sheet and evaluated digitally.
Part II- having subjective questions marked out of 30 points, with responses to be provided in visual and/or written formats.
The Design Aptitude Test (Prelims) consists of an examination of 90 minutes duration and will be marked out of 100 points.
This is a pen-and-paper test conducted at the same time on the same day across all test centres.
The question paper is in English.
All questions are compulsory.
There is no negative marking.

Royal Global University commonly known as Assam Royal Global University is located in Guwahati. The university has many courses right from undergraduate to PhD programs in various branches. B.Design is an undergraduate course taught in the duration of 4 years and divided into 8 semesters. One person that has qualified 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board can pursue this course.
The university has good infrastructure and faculty for B.Design. It conducts many workshops and offers good exposure to the students. They offer internship programs for students where they can learn the overall organizational functions and understand the way of working by the designers on buyers design choice and process after receiving the design.
