The private colleges would definitely have higher fees than this. Situation test is a practical based test. It doesn't relates to your specific stream, but is conducted on a basic level for every design student no matter which stream in design he/she further wishes to choose. The situation test is all about creative, innovative ideas, which are to be shown practically with a limited time frame. The material is provided to you which can be anything. Like a paper or a matchstick or may be a rubber band. You will have to use the material to build what the question says. You will be judged on various things like idea, creativity and how you can think out of box in the given time.

Of course, pearl has a good placement cell and most of the students are recruited for jobs. Apart from jobs and placements, it has good facilities in terms of architecture, tools, labs, hostels and much more. I would say it's the perfect academy for fashion design except for the fee structure. Since the total fee structure is really high for even a high-middle class student, most students try to go for government colleges. But if the fee is affordable, which is like a crore or so for a 4-year graduation programme, it's a good option with a good scope in fashion designing.
