NID has a 4-year Bachelor of Design program wherein the first year is foundation while the following years are spent in specialising in a field of your choice (out of 8 disciplines), the syllabus thereby varies greatly. NID also offers a Master's degree programme in Design for a period of 2 years offering a range of other disciplines, each with a different syllabus.

Designing is a completely different field from CA. It is like doing a clerical job after completing M.Tech. CA is a highly decorative profession as it makes you an expert into the field of Accountancy. Kindly go with what your interest is.

If you are already working as a textile designer then changing the field would not be a good option. Instead, pursue a Masters degree in textile design from NID or NIFT as that will lead to a good and high paying job.
