It depends on your personal choices. If you want to do products and not garments, then go for accessories else go for Textiles.

No it's pretty difficult because seats in M.Des are around 30, out of which 15 are reserved and 15 are general. 92 rank might not get a chance to get through NIFT, Delhi.

If you have a category, I mean if you are an OBC, ST or SC, then chances are bright. You may get a very good NIFT Campus but if you're a general category student, then there's no chance. Not even a percent because last year, counselling for general category stopped around 1900 Common Merit Rank.

It all depends on your area of interest since both the courses provide greatest opportunities in the industry but all depends on your skills. So just take knowledge about both the courses and join the course in which you think you can do better.

Product designing has gained a lot of popularity in these growing years and it has a great scope if you gain excellence in it.
For getting into product designing you should go for a degree course in designing. Firstly, you should complete your 12th (from any stream with minimum of 50%) and then apply for designing entrance examinations for your chosen institute. NID is a good option for product designing.

Dear Ankita,
For pursuing a career in fashion designing you should achieve a degree in this. If you want you can also opt for a Diploma course and get a job or start your own business.
