B.FTech is a 4-year undergraduate programme in the field of fashion, it deals with the intricacies of apparel production processes and technology. It trains the students on every aspect of apparel production, pattern making, production management, quality control, retail management and fashion marketing. The course all teaches about database management, industrial engineering and the role played by artificial intelligence and the field of information technology in influencing apparel production and management. Some of the common topics that are part of most fashion technology courses are Textile Science, Sewing Fundamentals, Textile & Fashion Science, Pattern making Fundamentals, Garment Assembling, Apparel Production Fundamentals, Draping, Pattern Manipulation and so on. The field of fashion is a very popular one among today generation. There are numerous opportunities and well-paid jobs in this field that can lead to a rewarding career. By getting trained in this field one gets the opportunity to work with a number of national and international brands in the field of apparel manufacturing and fashion. Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to valid score in LPUNEST or Qualifying UCEED (5562 Rank). In case marks scored in 10+2 are 70% or above, then LPUNEST and UCEED will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium.
