Hi, I would like to recommend LPU as one of the best places in India for Multimedia, Graphics, and Gaming. The faculty members are from the industry like red chilies Studios, Prime focus studios and they have experience of more than 15 years. The multimedia department has a separate block and has well-equipped labs with dell workstations to handle high-end software like adobe after effects, Unity Maya, Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, Nuke, Fusion, Z brush, photoshop, etc. Even the department has good quality of resources like Black magic cinemas cameras, canon cameras, trolly, jib, and well-equipped special VFX studio with permanent Chroma backgrounds. Placements are also great. This year as well students got placed in companies like Amazon, rockstar games, Kony India, Xentrix studios, Lolly POP Design Studio, etc. With average packages of 5 Lacs per annum and maximum packages are 8 to 10 Lacs. In addition, for the demand for Indian garments, designer saris and textiles are also of great demand. Though both the universities are good in terms of academics but being an alumni of LPU let me explain the things in detail. There is 100% Placement every year where students are placed with retail, luxury, export, buying, craft sector, fashion houses, etc. Industry interface with leading brands for summer training, full-term optional/ compulsory internships, On-job training, study tours, and skill enhancement events and workshops are extensively integrated in the LPU curricula, to expose students to real work environments and provide them an opportunity to apply their learning in real life situations. This placement can be attributed to lots of factors like Handholding through Start-up School and Entrepreneurship: It is to set up new ventures, improve upon and modernize existing business, engage in social entrepreneurship / NGO. A unique course that gives wings to the students by providing them hand on experience. Student get chance to develop their own products and sell into the university own studio Panacha. School of Design organised summer internship programme where industry experts from various field related to fashion interacted with students and gave inside about the industry. Students get a chance to attend fashion weeks by FDCI where they get to work backstage with eminent designers and deal with buyers and several clients attending the show. School of Design provides international exposure opportunities like international study trip, exchange programme, summer/research studies
