If you're financially unsound, and opting for an NRI seat, it's going to be added pressure not only during the length of programme but also post its culmination in absence of a healthy salary (beginning pay scales in Fashion industry are generally on the lower side). Moving beyond tuition fees, miscellaneous expenses will swell the total amount incurred on education by at least 15 to 25% if not more. Keeping all these expenses in mind, not swaying by the brand name and taking overall placements record into contention, I would state that NRI seat is a bad investment (on loan or otherwise) for economically weak students. No issues at all if you are from a financially well off setup.

Students are motivated & trained to participate in international Fashion & Textile competitions like The Arts of Fashion Foundation competition, San Francisco; World of Wearable Art, New Zealand; Bilbao International art & Fashion, Bilbao, etc. Or work with companies that design textile collections for International Trade Fairs like Ambiente, Hiem Textile, F-Tex, Domotex, etc. So from above VGU Fashion and Textile design courses are valid for other countries also.
