Considering you to be a member of the 2018 batch of Diploma (Mechanical Engineering) students, who could not clear the backlog in the 5th semester.
You can still apply for the same now. Most universities or technical institutions provide opportunities for students to clear their backlogs in higher semesters or through supplementary examinations.
