Here are so many government and private institutions for Diploma in mechanical engineering. The best government colleges are Balure Silpo Mandir, HIT, BIT, etc. and top private ones are TPI, Institutions of Technology, Brainware, JIS, Techno India (Saltlake), etc.

It will be great for you if you go for B.Tech CSE as after Diploma, it will increase your chance for a good job after completion of graduation.

It is important to understand that hotel management is 80% a practical course and only 20% theoretical. Moreover, it is a skill based program which has plenty of job opportunities in India as well as abroad.
Now, coming to your question, your 12th standard marks are not relevant if you look to pursue any skill based professional degree. There is huge demand for skilled manpower in hospitality industry. The program includes industrial training where the student learns from the industry as well. For IT of 6 months, student can opt for India or Abroad.
You should opt for a Degree rather than a Diploma as it has very limited options.

The basic eligibility for Diploma in food and nutrition is 12th standard. The marks required for admission for this course may vary from institute to institute. Various colleges conduct their entrance exams plus interview for the same.
