Hi,
It is always preferred to go for a regular degree course dear. A Diploma course is usually a short term thing which will help you for a certain period of time in your career but it's benefit won't last for very long. You cannot grow more in your field with these courses. I am not denying that your experience, efforts and skills do matter in how much successful you will be in your life but you cannot purely leave it to that. Courses do help you to get proper education, push in your career and self development.

To get admission into BA, you need to pass in 10+2 and in most of the colleges in India, there is no such provision for direct entry into second year of BA for diploma holders of Electronics. You need class 12 marksheet with passing grades to get admission in a BA program.
You can apply for B.A after completing your diploma as diploma is equivalent to 12th. You can also choose professional course rather than B.A or the best option is to do graduation in the stream which you have already study in your Diploma.

Yes. AUM allows students to take admission into the second year (Sem -3) through lateral admission process for the B.Tech programme in different branches. Eligibility : 1. Min 60% in Class X, XII (PCM) or 2. Min 60% in Class X & Diploma from Polytechnic College/Institute affiliated with State Board of Technical Education/ University, or recognised by UGC/AICTE with a min 60% marks in aggregate or grade point equivalent or 3.
