Dear Sahana,
It doesn't matter why the age gap is, you can still go ahead and pursue the Diploma you want to complete. But as a suggestion, I would recommend you to complete of all the papers that you have left in complete from your 12th it will not only help you fetch a better Diploma but also will help you grow in your career. You can still make it by dedicating a little more time to the 12th Discontinued Papers. I hope it will help you in the long-term career decisions.

As per the rules and regulations of UGC and government of India, you cannot pursue computer science or any technical study through distance learning. So, for B.Tech, you must attend the regular classes. No jobs will be given without a regular degree in B.Tech.

Admission to the course at some colleges and institutes offering B.Sc. in Nutrition and Dietetics is based on the candidate's performance in the relevant entrance examination conducted by the concerned university.
Admission to the course at some other colleges/ institutes, however, is based on the candidate's scores in the qualifying exam, i.e. classes X and XII. Subsequently, a merit list is prepared, based on which seats are allotted to the shortlisted candidates.
