As per my knowledge, the UGC norms do not allow a student to pursue two academic degrees in one single year. Even if one is regular and the other from distance. Moreover, it is advisable to focus on one course at a time.

It is valid to do MBA in HR via distance. Please ensure that the university is been accredited by UGC and Distance Education Bureau or else the degree you hold will be invalid.
