Dear Akanksha,
As per my knowledge, the UGC norms do not allow a student to pursue two academic degrees in one single year. Even if one is regular and the other from distance. Moreover, it is advisable to focus on one course at a time.

It is valid to do MBA in HR via distance. Please ensure that the university is been accredited by UGC and Distance Education Bureau or else the degree you hold will be invalid. Distance Education is preferred highly by working professionals to grow in the industry. I believe you have made a great decision.

At present, there is no feasible option nor you must do as it is a practical subject. AICTE stressed on its practical exposure so it restricted BE to full-time non-distance study.
