Candidates with MA in Psychology are hugely recruited in private organization in various positions. In many private schools there are posts open for Psychologists. Most of the schools offer student counseling as well as mental fitness services to adolescents as to guide them in the right direction. MA in Psychology graduates will also find jobs as Junior Psychologist in the community mental fitness departments. They can also find jobs with private companies involved in the research, data collection and psychoanalysis. Some can find jobs in rehabilitation centers as Assistants Psychologists.

A person with MA in Psychology also has excellent career opportunities in the Government sector. Candidates who take up Doctorate in Psychology with an emphasis in clinical, counseling, health, and educational psychology will have even better career prospects. Psychologists with an extensive training in research and computer science will also receive an added advantage over applicants.

B.Ed through distance mode is available only for the in-service teachers who are in payroll of a government recognized school, if you are reaching off the record, you are not eligible for private institutes. The B.Ed programme has to be offered only by NCTE approved institutes. Only IGNOU has the authority to offer B.Ed all over India. Other few institutes have rights to offer only within their state, e.g. YCMOU can offer B.Ed in Maharashtra only and if any student outside Maharashtra does it, the degree is invalid. Further, the school where you are working has to give undertaking that they will not remove you from teaching position until you complete your B.Ed. Seats for a commerce graduate are very few as commerce is not a school subject. Your MBA has no value in teaching. If you have done B.Com through correspondence and if it is from a UGC or DEB approved university then it is valid.
