You can go for MCA from IGNOU as it has wide spread regional centers throughout India as well as many study centers. IGNOU is a central university recognized by UGC. The cost of study at IGNOU is also affordable. Hence, I would suggest to choose IGNOU to pursue MCA.

Your friend can go for NMIMS Mumbai or Prince Welingkar, Mumbai or Symbiosis, Bangalore or government institutes like IGNOU, Hyderabad Central University , Pondicherry Central University, etc.

If you want to practice in Indian courts after law degree you are advised to do regular LLB as Bar Council of India does not recognise LLB through distance learning.
