There are few things which need to be consider before joining a course from any Institute:
1. Are you getting a PGD or MBA Degree? Although, they are considered equivalent but technically both are different and MBA have more value than any PGD.
2. Is your university recognized? UGC, DEB and AIU are basic recognition required.
3. What flexibility you are getting? App based learning, live interactive lectures and career advisory are basic facilities.
4. Placement support provided or not? Straight and forward saying, no university can guarantee your placement, as companies pay for skills not for degree you are holding. So, check w

It is always advisable to pursue regular course as the main aim is to prepare the students with the technical knowledge and attitude that are necessary for this occupation which will be difficult to attain at correspondence level.
All the branches of engineering are equally good and have tremendous job opportunities. It entirely depends on how well you understand and handle the stream and increase your scope of growth.

It is always advisable to pursue regular course as the main aim is to prepare the students with the technical knowledge and attitude that are necessary for this occupation which will be difficult to attain at correspondence level.
But as you have shown interest in correspondence course, I could find only 3 institutes offering B.Arch through distance mode, i.e.

Surely there are courses after diploma in Electrical Engineering.
