If you want to be a nephrologist, then you will first have to complete an MBBS degree, after which you can do a three-year postgraduate DNB in Nephrology. This is the process: (a) You have to complete 12th grade in Physics Chemistry and Biology subjects. (b) Appear for the NEET UG exam and try to score around 600, as the MBBS cutoff is very high in medical colleges. (c) Thereafter, you may get admission to a medical college and pursue a 5-and-a-half year MBBS degree. (d) After completing MBBS you will have to pursue a Diploma National Board DNB in Nephrology. (e) To be eligible, you must have passed an MBBS degree with an aggregate of 50% marks. (f) You may have to qualify for an entrance exam like the DNB-CET exam to get admission.
