Yes you can pursue DNB in Medical after completing MBBS degree.

DNB is a PG Medical training course that offers specialisation in General Medicine, Pediatrics, Surgery, Radiology, Orthopedics and many others.

After obtaining an MBBS degree candidates can apply for DNB courses through an entrance examination conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE).

No, you cannot pursue a DNB in Respiratory Medicine directly after a B.Sc in Nutrition and to be eligible for a DNB in Respiratory Medicine, you must have an MBBS degree from a recognized institution, and have completed a one-year rotating internship.

The stipend for a Post-Diploma DNB (Broad Specialty) trainee doctor at B L Kapoor Hospital in Delhi is as follows:

First year: INR 37,000 per month.

Second year: INR 39,000 per month.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has revised the stipend guidelines for trainee doctors.

Some of the colleges in India that offer DNB Rheumatology after MBBS include:

1. ABG and environs TATA Major/Minor, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi


2. Established in 1999, Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore
