ADGITM is a tier-2 college. It is approved by AICTE and is affiliated to GGSIPU, New Delhi. The college offers UG and PG courses. The total number of seats offered by the college are 1921. Some of the top recruiters are TCS, HCL, Accenture, IBM, and Genpact.

Eligibility for B.Tech: For admission to the Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Technology and Management, candidates are eligible on specified eligibility criteria. The minimum marks in 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics should be at least 55%. Admission is generally given on the basis of performance in the IPU CET or JEE Main entrance examinations. The candidate has to join the counseling process conducted by the institute after qualifying. If you want to pursue B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering or B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning then Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Technology & Management is better as it has great placement opportunities. Other than that if you want to pursue any branch in B.Tech then Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies is better.

The whole MBA programme of ADGITM is available for an amount of nearly 2.47 Lacs in total. It is for a two-year programme with a lot more things involved other than just tuition. The college intakes about 61 students into the MBA programme that provides the proper concentration for studying. The admissions are through merit obtained from entrance exams such as IPU CET, CAT, or CMAT. ADGITM also offers internships and placements.
