courses only if they possess a three year Bachelor Degree of 10+2+3 or 12+3 or 11+1+3 pattern, with the prescribed minimum percentage of marks, unless otherwise specified. Candidates who acquired Bachelor
Degree by Distance Education without 10+2+3 pattern are also eligible for admission into P. G. Courses, subject to submission of residence certificate. Because distance degrees are permitted here. So, you can apply.

Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University is a good university. Academics are good here but placement records are not that great. You can surely consider the option if you are not getting any other college.

M.A. Sociology Eligibility
The basic eligibility criterion for pursuing M.A. (Sociology) degree is having graduation degree in any stream.
However, many of the reputed universities demand graduation degree with Honours in Sociology or Sociology as one of the subjects studied in graduation from any of the recognised university/college of the country for admission to M.A. (Sociology) degree course.
Some of the very reputed universities and institutes demand a minimum of 45-50% marks in graduation as qualifying criteria to secure admission in this course and some also conduct entrance examination to get admission to their M.A.

MBA placements were quite good. I have heard that the highest salary package offered was either INR. 9 LPA or INR. 13 LPA.
Ambedkar University:
The highest salary offered was INR. 10 LPA. The average salary offered was INR. 6.5 LPA, and the lowest salary offered was INR. 3.5 LPA. The companies visited our campus are Meltwater, Smart Joules, NHDC ltd. , Black Rock, India Infrastructure, Map my India, IIM Jobs. Com, Boyuance International, BIBA, Edelweiss Financial, ESAF Microfinance, Bisleri international, Tatsat Ventures, Madison OOH. Majorly Marketing and Business Development profiles were offered to the students.
