Yes, you are eligible. You need to participate in Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by DTU. The eligibility criteria is Diploma in engineering with 60% of marks. However, there are very few seats available in DTU for outside students, so you may not get your preferred branch.

Hello Anuj,It is indeed very nice to hear from you that you want to seek admission for Bachelor of engineering course via lateral admission after completion of your Diploma in Engineering. I must say that your aim is very good and I hope you achieve your aim next year. As per the rules in existence you can think of or rather you will be allowed to appear for the entrance exam conducted by DTU only next year and not in this year. These days the rules are changing so quickly that there is no point of knowing what would be the case next year, however I would advise you to study good for this and the next year in your Diploma with the aim

Firstly, you have to check the eligibility criteria of the institution you want. Don't worry, it is not too late. Most of the private institutes allow, just check go ahead. Good luck.

Hello Rahul, you are already studying in the first year of engineering in one of the engineering colleges and now is desirous of seeking admission in the second year of engineering in an engineering college under DTU. Right? I am afraid it's not possible. It's like changing college midway in a course.
