Under the admissions process, the applicants of De Montfort University Dubai must have the following documents:
- Complete Application Form
- Attested copy of high school or bachelor's certificate
- Passport Copy
- Student Visa Documents
- Medical Insurance Proof
- Receipt of Application Fee Payment
- English Language Proficiency Test Certificate
The postgraduate applicants also need to submit a Statement of Purpose, and Letters of Recommendation. There are certain courses that require portfolio submission, entrance examination, and interviews.

Yes, to apply for any programme at De Montfort University, you need to pay an application fee of AED 500 (INR 11,789.72), which is non-refundable. This fee is to pay for the administrative expenses utilized to process a particular application. It is compulsory to pay the application fee, and then the university will begin reviewing the student's application. An applicant can make this payment through bank transfer to the university's dedicated bank account, internationally accepted credit or debit cards, or online payment methods. If a student does not go forward with his/her application, even then the application fee is non-refundable

De Montfort University Dubai charges for accommodation, visa processing fees, and student services fees. Regarding the accommodation, DMU Dubai offers on-campus and outside campus accommodation facilities. These accommodations offer housekeeping, furnished rooms, Wi-Fi, and gym services. There are male and female accommodations which are separate. The student need to apply for Student Residence Visa, and the university offers a 12-month visa which is renewable with proper proof of continuing of studies. Getting Medical Insurance is also compulsory for international students which can lead to extra expense of AED 1399 (INR 32,987.64). O

There is a refund policy at De Montfort University Dubai if a student withdraws from the program. The refund amount will vary on the time of withdrawal from the course by the student. First, the student must submit a withdrawal request to the university, and it will be processed based on the duration of the course completed. The application fee of AED 500 (INR 11,581.29) is non-refundable, and the AED 2000 (INR 47158.88) can be adjusted in the instalments if there are no outstanding amount, or penalties. It is also important to note that the withdrawal will be done based on the university's financial policies.

Yes, based on the course you applied for, DMU Dubai can charge extra fees for certain facilities they will provide. For science, engineering and computing programs, the university can charge additional costs to provide access and usage of laboratory amenities. De Montfort University Dubai also charge studio fees for courses on design and creative arts. The student also needs to buy software required for certain computing, fashion, and engineering courses. Other than these, the applicants must pay application fees, and visa processing fees for international students.

The courses and programs offered at the De Montfort University (DMU) Dubai have the same quality and standard as that of DMU Leicester. This means that the degrees received at DMU Dubai are the same as that of DMU Leicester. The modules, and curriculum of the courses at DMU Dubai are the same as that of Leicester, leading to similar assessment, and outcomes. But, the programs available at DMU Leicester are wider, and diversified than compared to that of DMU Dubai. But this is due to the demand of the UK industries, and focusing on the region.
