According to the UAE Labour Law, it is illegal for a person to work in the UAE without a valid work permit. Different types of work permits are issued by MoHRE, depending on the nature of the job. One of these is the Golden visa, also known as the long-term residence visa. It is advised to check the terms and conditions before applying for a work permit.

When applying for UAE Visa, students must require several documents supporting the visa application. Students can check the list of documents required for UAE Visa below:

  • A copy of passport
  • Passport size photos (up to 12)
  • A letter of acceptance into the UAE university or college
  • Bank statement as a proof of finance
  • Proof of Accommodation (if candidates has opted for university accommodation)
  • Copy of tuition fee receipt for the current study year of the program
  • For a post-graduate program, also include proof of certification from your previous university/college
