Hi,
The eligibility criteria varies from college to college. The basic criteria for pursuing M.A Economics is having a graduation degree in any stream.
However, many of the reputed universities demand graduation degree with Honors in Economics or Economics as one of the subjects studied in graduation from any of the recognized college/university.
Some even ask for a minimum of 45-50% marks in graduation as qualifying criteria to secure admission in this course and some also conduct an entrance examination.
*It is advisable that you clear your backlogs first and then proceed further.
