Hi Khushi,
To get admission in Jadavpur University for B.A. Economics, you need to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the university. After clearing the exam, you will be able to get admission in this college. To clear this examination you should solve all the previous year problems and also give some online tests as well to improve your performance. You can purchase the previous year problems from the nearby markets or you can purchase it from Amazon or Flipkart via online shopping also.
Best of luck.

Hi,
The combination you are wanting is what I'm pursuing presently. This is offered in many colleges like
St. Xavier's College-Mumbai and Christ-Bangalore. These are the top ones. I'm in Xavier's right now. There you need to be dropping one subject every year and you major in one of the subjects in the 3rd year. But, Xavier's does not provide economics in the 2nd or 3rd year for B.Sc Students.

Hons. in economics is better, but DU is much more better than Amity University. In my opinion, any course from DU is better, because it is a government university. The final choice would be yours.

Yes, definitely you are not eligible for economics hons, as it requires math as a subject in class 12th. Now, if you wish to study economics, then either you can go for BA Programme and take economics, as a subject or go for any hons course and take economics, as your Generic elective. If you take it as your GE for all four semester then you might get a minor in economics.
