Hi S. Priya, Significantly, there's a very small portion of Economics Hons. Students who end up having a job in India because the kind of technical and vocational skills one needs to have for getting a job after completing graduation, are almost absent. But you might be the lucky slot person, so here is the list of places you could go, things you could try and jobs you may apply for, after you complete Economic Hons
Indian Economic Services: Though Economics Hons. Does't give you the eligibility to give IES but it helps you gain a lot of information and cover most of the subjects from IES point of view. *Eligibility for IES is Post graduation in Economics
2. Research Analyst: There are various Government offices as well as business firms that require Research Analysts. In that case, Economics Hons. Grads are preferred.
3. Bank jobs: If youve been a really meritorious student throughout your college, then there is a chance that some bank might place you directly while campus placement goes on.
4. Miscellaneous: One can go for Civil Services after being done with the graduation as even there a lot of portion asked belongs to economics. Im a sailor of this boat ;)Lecturer-ship in Economics is also a good option as it involves a very noble work and handsome salary too. :)
You can also apply for jobs in RBI as they regularly conduct exams for Officer level posts. And a piece of advice from my side- Just do your best in graduation, fate will make way for itself then. Hope you find this answer useful!

Mandatory Subject: Mathematics with 45% in 10+2.
Aggregate of best four subjects (BFS) would be considered.
Environmental Education (ISC), Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Painting, Dance, Music, Physical Education, Home Science, Engineering Drawing and all other vocational subjects are not considered as BFS. Interested candidates have to first register on Delhi University UG admission portal and then apply on college website for the desired course. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Aptitude Test based on marks obtained in 10+2 followed by Personal Interview. Candidates are selected based on marks obtained in 10+2, aptitude test score and performance in personal interview.
