According to Shiksha Student Reviews, the institute received an overall rating of 4.3 out of 5 for its B.Tech courses. Students have mentioned alot about the faculty, modern facilities, research labs, a supportive environment, leading to an ideal career growth as well as personal development.

The University of Twente costs €2,314 for EU/EEA students and €10-13,000 for other international students to study bachelor's programmes. Master's programmes cost €2,314 for EU/EEA students and €12-17,000 for other foreign students. In the private sector, there are many software companies that are willing to hire tech graduates from the institute. The Brainport region is home to over 5,000 tech companies, providing many opportunities.
Tech graduates also see interest from the Electronics and Instrumentation industry.

Students seeking admission to the institute, are required to satisfy the language test scores, listed below:
TOEFL:
Overall band score of at least 90
Minimum 21 for each section
IELTS Academic:
Overall band score 6.5
A minimum of 6.0 for each section

The university only accepts the TOEFL internet-based test, and students need to arrange for their test.
