In case, you don't get your desired college, don't settle for something mediocre. Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better, if you try for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Tech in different branches. They have different criteria for admissions. In India at the moment and in near future, jobs for aeronautical engineers are going to be rather limited. This is so since there are not many institutions who are working in this as the core area. In view of this, I will strongly recommend you to choose ECE.
