Both CSE and ECE are good branches with similar opportunities. ECE is core branch of engineering and you can work in Electronics, Telecommunications and IT industry. Therefore, in order to have wider choices to opt after 4 years, I will recommend NSIT ECE over IIIT CSE.

There are approximate 2000-3000 seats in IITs reserved for OBC category. So the chance is nearly impossible.

If your target area was animation and gaming then you should have taken admission in Diploma in CS or IT and done short term courses in your interest area to increase your employability.

As per your profile you may consider pursuing Masters degree in:
- Embedded systems.
- VLSI.
- Computer science.
- Telecommunication engineering and related fields.
