Dear Dhaval,
Well, it would depend on the institute, as different institutes have different criteria.
As you have already done a diploma, you are eligible for seeking lateral entry in B.Tech. One requires to qualify LEET as conducted by the technical education board of the state. Lateral Entry Entrance Tests are conducted on state level. But some colleges and Univerities too conduct Lateral Entry Tests. You will get direct admission to 2nd year of B.Tech if you clear the exam.
Some colleges that you can consider are:
Punjab University,Chandigarh.
IP University,Delhi.
Punjabi University,Patiala.

Electrical engg and electronics enng both are core branch of engg. But due to new application and gadgets both enng combined and a new engg field emerge called electrical and electronics engg. all are good. you can seat for GATE in both opting EEE.

Under electronics engineering.the main thing goes with the same term of the main thing is all due to concern of the making term.under electronics engineering,have to study the term of subjects are given as-

Digital electronics is a specialised field and very few institutes will be offering a Bachelors in it. However, what I can suggest is that you do your BE. B.Tech in Electronics and Communication as digital electronics is also a part of it.

Hi,
Generally, candidates join lateral B.Tech course after completing diploma in any engineering field to get direct entry into the second year. Degree course will open more opportunities for you.
Eligibility Criteria :
You need to score minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the diploma course. You need to sit for Lateral Entry Entrance Test or LEET which is conducted at state level. Some colleges and Universities too conduct their own lateral entry tests.
