M.B.M. Engineering College has been upgraded to a public state university known as M.B.M. University.
The admissions to the B.E. and B.Arch. programs of the university are carried out through the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP), organized by the Center for E-Governance, Government of Rajasthan, Jaipur.
According to the official website of REAP, the last date to fill out and lock the college choices of candidates in each category is today, after which it will release the cutoff in multiple rounds.
To be eligible for admission to B.E. in electronics and electrical engineering, the candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination with a 45% aggregate in subjects from physics, mathematics, and chemistry, or an equivalent science subject.
In addition, candidates may be required to submit a JEE score.
As of now, the final merit list has been published on the REAP portal under the Candidate Panel. Whereas, the cutoff will be available from the first week of October for all B.E. courses.

The institute course curriculum is prepared to meet the demand of the market; therefore, all branches are equally good, and you can select any branch as per your preference. However, based on student reviews available on the Shiksha website, B.Tech. In Petroleum Engineering is preferred due to the opportunity of high placement in top PSUs like ONGC. This branch also had the highest rating of 4.2 stars. Thereafter, chemical engineering is preferred by aspirants who wish to get placed in government-owned companies. It is equally rated at par with the petroleum engineering branch. B.Tech. In Information Technology has been introduced recently, but students have rated it more than 4 stars based on the course curriculum and expected opportunities in the IT field. Similarly, CSE and ECE branches were also introduced recently and are doing well among students. Therefore, preference depends on student interest.

The LNM Institute of Information Technology (LNMIIT) is an institute of higher learning that is deemed to be a university located in Jaipur, India. The institute is a public-private partnership venture between the LNM foundation and the Government of Rajasthan and operates as an autonomous non-profit organization
The ECE branch deals with electronics and some parts of communication.
Admissions are done on both merit and an entrance basis.
The cut-off depends on JEE (Advanced) AIR rank up to 12000 OR JEE (Main) Percentile of 97 and above.
For the ECE branch, last year's cut-off was 108-118 for the open category. If you want to take admission, then you have to get more than 120 marks.

If you consider Thapar university then it is a good decision because it has much greater opportunities than Bennett university and at Thapar University, you get much better exposure. As Thapar university took admissions through JEE Mains. The Placements have been good. Most of the well known MNCs like Google, Microsoft, Amazon etc. Visited the campus. 35 students placed in Samsung R&D and 31 by Deloitte. Japanese company Hikari Tsushin offered 33 Lacs to 12 students more than 115 students placed till now with an average of about 9 Lacs. The fee is very expensive in Bennett university. If one's competence for engineering is low, then it is not the right choice. If your JEE score is low, you should look for other cheap options. There is a number of other private universities where the fee is low & also have placement opportunities in IT companies similar to what Bennett would have or even Bennett might not have that IT cos for few initial batches.
