For admission to Delhi Technological University (DTU) and Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), the rank considered will depend on the category you belong to. If you belong to the general category, then your All India General Rank (AIR) will be considered for admission. However, if you belong to the OBC category, then your All India OBC Rank (AIR) will be considered. It is important to note that the admission process and criteria may vary from year to year. So, it is advisable to check the official website of DTU and NSUT for the latest updates regarding the admission process and eligibility criteria.

Every year, authorities conduct three rounds of Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for B.Tech admission. So, there is nothing about ACAP because there is no additional CAP rounds of counselling.

Never, taking a drop will NEVER affect your placement. The recruiting company will SEE your resume, that you will prepare with your college. They will never ask you why you took a drop and other such things. As long as you have a good academic record in your college, be assured to get a good placement. Tank you.

Top Private Universities provides best placement facilities to their students in comparison to low ranks colleges. But the fee is very high. So its better to prepare for JEE Main and JEE Advanced for getting Government Engineering colleges. Government colleges like IITs, NITS and IIITs have reasonable fee structure and you can avail various types of scholarship schemes and loaning facilities also. However if interested in Private Colleges than the list is given below.
1. VIT Vellore
2. Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani
3. SASTRA Deemed to be University, Thanjavur
4. Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University, Bhubaneswar
5. Dhirubhai
...more

Hello Leena Gandhe, it's very nice to know that you have already started thinking about good colleges in future. You have the option of seeking admission in engineering college under lateral entry scheme so that you get admitted directly into second year of 4 year degree course. On the other hand if you want to change your stream thn you can think of taking admission in any graduation course that you like based upon equivalence of Diploma with the 12th standard. Whole world is open to you to conquer. Best wishes to you.
