Yes, JEE Mains is compulsory for B.Tech. admission at NIT, Raipur. The seat distribution for admission to NIT Raipur will be governed by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).
A merit list would be created category-by-category, detailing candidates' All India Ranks (AIR) with a valid JEE Main or equivalent entrance examination score.
Candidates are expected to participate in JoSAA Counselling rounds according to their category based on the rank they have attained.

Usually, the 80-90 Percentile in JEE Main 2023 is close to the 1,50,000 to 3,00,000 rank in JEE Main. That means a candidate with an 80-90 percentile in JEE Mains has a chance to get admission to NITs and IIITs for B.Tech courses. However, I could not find any information specific to your percentile score. You can check the details mentioned on this page. I would also recommend you to check with the college directly for more information on admission requirements and procedures. You can visit their official website.
