You have scored quite handsomely at almost 95 percentile. This indeed is great achievement. However in spite of this if you are not getting the institute that you desire then you can definitely take a break of full year, study for the exam and get percentile about 99 and then you will definitely get the institute that you want. However if you have taken admission in some Institute and still desire to get admission in an IIT then you can study simultaneously for JEE Mains and advanced and definitely hope to get above a percentile of 99. No, applicants need not carry their Caste Certificate along with the Joint Entrance Examination admit card on the exam day. A caste Certificate is required for counseling.
