SEE you will get colleges at lower rank as well but That college is not the NITs, If you want to take a gap and you have chance to appear for JEE Mains again next year then I suggest you to prepare But if you want to take admission this year then I am sending you an authentic link from where you check which colleges you are getting at your rank or percentile. Yes, you may get an NIT or IIIT college irrespective of Desired Branch. But I suggest you to go counselling till last round which is best for you. You should look into the National Rail and Transportation Institute. It is a university set up by the Indian Railways and it offers 2 B.Tech. Courses. The university gets very good faculty from IITs and Iims and has also been providing its students with excellent placement opportunities.
