• 12:30 PM - 3:00 PM

The AEEE 2026 slot booking for the phase 2 exams will start a week before the exam in April or May 2026. The marking distribution of the GATE Data Science question paper is as follows -

• General aptitude - 15 marks
• Subject-based questions - 85 marks
• Total marks allotted - 100 marks

The GATE DA question paper marking scheme is as follows -

• Questions are either of 1 or 2 marks
• For 1-mark MCQ, 1/3 mark will be deducted for an incorrect response.
• For 2- mark MCQ, 2/3rd mark will be deducted for an incorrect response. 
• There is no negative marking for MSQs and NATs.
