With 40 percentile, it is not possible for you to get admission in any of the NITs. It is better to try in some private institutes in your preferred location.

Definitely, you can get admission in CCA. Just appear for the counselling.

You can get good NITs in South. In NE, you cannot get seats in NIT.

It can give you an idea. Result cannot be 100% correct. It just helps you to predict.

You have good chances of getting a seat at SASTRA University. However, the branch which you can get is difficult to say since, the competition is very high. Hence, you may try your best at the counseling to get the branch you wish for.

If you have not cleared JEE Mains then you have chances of pursuing an engineering degree from most respected universities like BITS, VIT, SRM, SASTRA and many more state engineering colleges conducting entrance exams like EAMCET, WBJEE, MH-CET, COMEDK, etc.
Do not worry about JEE Mains. if you do well in above-mentioned exams, you can get a good college.

Yes, if you have your ST category certificate then you will get a good NIT. You have to file up your ST category proof with your documents.
