If you belong to general category you should check the best possible private colleges that you can get. Some of those colleges are Manipal, BITS, SRM, VIT, etc.

It depends upon the cutoff which has not released since the result is not announced. The result will be coming on 30th April 2018. After this the cutoff for the different categories will be announced. Then if you do not attain the minimum score then you will not get any college but if you have qualified with above minimum marks then it might be possible that you will get the college.

It depends upon your category if one is of OBC then he/she will BET getting the IIIT, NIT, etc. But if one is from general category then you might get any NIT. But it depends upon the cutoff of JEE Mains 2018. Since the result is not released yet I can't say about the seat allotment procedure. It may vary this year. If the cutoff is low then chances will increase but otherwise it will be hard for general category.

110 is not that bad a score. You can get good private colleges or if you wish to apply for the Advance, then go ahead.

Yes, you can get NITs but not the core branches such as CS, mechanical, civil and others. You will get another branch of your choice.

Hello Pratik,
In Maharashtra, the lateral admissions to directly second year of engineering are done based on the marks obtained in Diploma. Hence if you are desirous of a particular college then I would advise you to study well to score handsomely. This will ensure that you get admission where your heart is. I am attaching a link that gives timelines related to last year:

With your score you can apply to MNIT, Jaipur. It is the best college for every engineering branch but you should also have good marks in 12th.

Yes, it is necessary because admission cannot be done in B.Tech without JEE Mains.
