Yes, you are eligible to apply for the AAT entrance exam. AAT 2018 Eligibility:
Only those candidates who have qualified in JEE Advanced are eligible to appear in AAT in 2018. Regards.

Hi Ritik,
Wait for the result which decides the cut-off. If you crossed cut-off, there may be little bit chance for any state government college. But if you get this you are unable to get branch according to your choice. To have to choose such branches in that college in which seats are left vacant.

Your rank totally depends on Mains score. So, 12th class score is not important and from this score. You will get average government college according to me.

Please don't lose your hope. Your son scored good marks. Please think about that students who are getting negative mark in JEE so don't worry. Appreciate your son because he was try to do hard work most of the students does nothing. 40 marks are sufficient for taking admission in good colleges you because you are under SC category. Yes, you can but you will only get private college, and i would not suggest you to take admission in them. Prepare for gate this year as taking admission in IITs and NITs gives you so many benefits in addition to doing m.tech plus you get 12400 rs monthly from HRD ministry as a scholarship and placements best among the country.
