Sorry to say, but 96 marks would not help you to fetch any of the IIT.
However, you can enroll for preparatory courses offered by IIT at this stage.

Yes, you can try for NIT's. Your category quota might fetch you a seat in one of the NIT's. NIT Hamirpur most probably because previous year's closing rank was highest for NIT Hamirpur.

This year JEE main cutoff for sc category was 32 while cutoff for advanced is
GENERAL CATEGORY-128
OBC -115
SC/ST-64.
You should have good marks to get admission in IITs.

You can't get any IIT, because your score is too low. Otherwise, use career 360 app to predict your colleges and you can get other colleges through your JEE Main score.

Sorry, you have no chance of getting any NITS and IITS. You can try for Punjab University, Patiala.
